TaskTickletPrivacy Policy
TaskTicklet doesn't collect your data. Everything stays on your Mac.
Information we collect
None. TaskTicklet has no accounts and no servers of its own. Jampod Labs does not collect, receive, or store any personal data from TaskTicklet.
What stays on your device
- All of your time-tracking data, including tasks, projects, time entries, breaks, and settings, is stored only on your Mac, inside the app's sandbox container at
~/Library/Containers/com.taskticklet.app/Data/Library/Application Support/TaskTicklet/data.json. - This data is never uploaded anywhere. It stays on your Mac for as long as you keep the app installed.
Jira integration
- Connecting Jira is optional. If you choose to connect, you enter your Jira Cloud site URL, your email, and an Atlassian API token.
- Your API token is stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac, not in TaskTicklet's own storage and not on any TaskTicklet server.
- TaskTicklet talks directly from your Mac to your own Jira Cloud site over HTTPS, to read your projects, active sprints, and issues, specifically issue summaries and statuses, optionally limited to issues assigned to you. Nothing is ever written back to Jira.
- Jira data you see in TaskTicklet is handled under Atlassian's own privacy policy: atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- You can disconnect Jira at any time from Settings, which removes the API token from the Keychain.
Purchases and subscriptions
- TaskTicklet Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription, available monthly or yearly with a 14-day free trial.
- Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Jampod Labs never sees your payment details. Apple's privacy policy is at apple.com/legal/privacy.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple account settings: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Analytics, tracking and third parties
None. TaskTicklet has no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, no tracking, and no cookies. It includes no third-party SDKs. The only network connections it makes are to your own Jira Cloud site, if you connect one, and to Apple's App Store services for purchases and subscriptions.
Data retention and deletion
- To remove your local time-tracking data, delete the app's data folder at
~/Library/Containers/com.taskticklet.app/Data/Library/Application Support/TaskTicklet/data.json, or delete TaskTicklet itself, which removes its sandbox container and everything in it. - To remove your Jira API token, disconnect Jira from within TaskTicklet's Settings, which deletes it from the macOS Keychain.
Children's privacy
TaskTicklet is not directed at children under 13, and Jampod Labs does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Because TaskTicklet and Jampod Labs hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. Everything TaskTicklet stores lives on your own device, under your own control, using the deletion steps above.
Changes to this policy
If TaskTicklet's behavior ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change.
